I ran into an issue today logging into UCS Manager where I received the following error:
This is due to an interoperability issue with Java 7 Update 45 and the UCSM GUI. There are several methods to patch this issue and one of them is to downgrade Java to version 7 update 40 or below. The easiest workaround though is to enable HTTP via the command shell through the console of the Fabric Interconnect. Note that this represent a temporary patch that’ll get you in but you do want to connect to UCSM via HTTPS moving forward. The recommendation would be to fix the Java issue if you running an incompatible version.
However, here is how it’s done:
UCS# scope system
UCS /system # scope services
UCS /system/services # enable http
UCS /system/services # disable http-redirect
Warning: When committed, this closes all the web sessions.
UCS /system/services* # commit
Once the configuration is committed, connect to UCSM via http.
